Publication Ethics
ALIEF: Journal of Early Childhood Education is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publishing process—authors, editors, and reviewers—are expected to adhere to ethical standards consistent with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Authors' Responsibilities:
- Submitted manuscripts must represent original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere.
- All authors must have made significant contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.
- Proper acknowledgment and citation of all sources used must be provided.
- Any conflicts of interest must be declared upon submission.
- Data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly prohibited.
Editors' Responsibilities:
- Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair, unbiased, and timely review process.
- Editorial decisions are based solely on the academic merit and relevance of the manuscript.
- Editors must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts at all times.
Reviewers' Responsibilities:
- Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
- Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when necessary.
- Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts assigned to them.
Any suspected case of research misconduct, including plagiarism, authorship disputes, or data manipulation, will be investigated thoroughly and may result in retraction, correction, or notification of authors' institutions.
