About the Journal
Al-Mujtama: Journal of Islamic Law and Society is a scholarly journal focusing on Islamic law and social dynamics from both normative and empirical perspectives. This journal serves as a publication platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to develop scholarly discourse on Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), ushul fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Islamic family law, Islamic economics, religious justice, and contemporary issues related to the relationship between Islamic law and social change.
Al-Mujtama: Journal of Islamic Law and Society emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach by integrating Islamic law, sociology, anthropology, and public policy studies to understand the role and implementation of Islamic law in modern society. Published articles undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and scholarly contribution.

This journal is published twice a year (January–June and July–December) by the Al-Mujtama Publication/Research Media LP2M STAI Al Mujtama Pamekasan and is open to manuscripts in Indonesian, English, and Arabic.
