Publication Ethics
BISYAROH: Journal of Sharia Business and Finance is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process — including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher — are expected to adhere strictly to these ethical standards.
Duties of Authors
- Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by any other journal simultaneously.
- Authors must accurately cite all sources and acknowledge the contributions of others to avoid plagiarism in any form.
- All individuals who have made a significant intellectual contribution to the research must be listed as co-authors.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest or sources of funding that may have influenced the research.
- Data fabrication, falsification, and selective reporting are strictly prohibited.
Duties of Editors
- Editors are responsible for ensuring the fairness and objectivity of the peer review process.
- Editors must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial staff.
- Editors must decline to handle manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.
Duties of Reviewers
- Reviewers must keep all information pertaining to the manuscript confidential and must not use unpublished work for their own research without the explicit consent of the authors.
- Reviewers must conduct their review objectively and provide constructive feedback supported by clear argumentation.
- Reviewers must promptly notify the editor if they identify any potential conflicts of interest.
Misconduct and Retraction Policy
The journal reserves the right to retract published articles if evidence of misconduct is established after publication, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and authorship fraud. All allegations of misconduct will be thoroughly investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines.
