Plagiarism Policy

RECHT ORDE maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and any form of academic dishonesty. Originality and intellectual integrity are fundamental requirements for all manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Direct copying of text from any source without proper attribution.
  • Paraphrasing or rephrasing another author's ideas without acknowledgment.
  • Reproducing images, tables, figures, or data without proper citation.
  • Self-plagiarism — submitting previously published work (in whole or in significant part) as new, original research.
  • Duplicate submission — submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.

Detection and Consequences

  • All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin or iThenticate prior to peer review.
  • Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references and quotations) will be returned to the author(s) for revision.
  • Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 30% are subject to immediate rejection.
  • If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the article will be retracted and the author(s) institution will be notified.
  • Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be banned from submitting to the journal for a minimum period of 2 (two) years.

Authors are solely responsible for ensuring the originality of their work. The journal recommends that authors conduct their own plagiarism checks using available tools before submission.
