Archiving Policy
RAMADANIA: Journal of Islamic Studies and Civilization is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal employs digital archiving strategies to ensure that research remains permanently available even in the event of technical failures or changes in journal operations.
The journal utilizes the following archiving systems and repositories:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides decentralized digital preservation for journals hosted on Open Journal Systems (OJS).
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): The journal supports LOCKSS, which enables participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
- Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital): All articles are deposited in Indonesia's national digital repository to ensure long-term access for Indonesian and international readers.
- Internet Archive: Published issues are archived through the Internet Archive to support perpetual access.
Authors are also encouraged to deposit their accepted and published articles in institutional or disciplinary repositories, including ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and ZENODO, to increase visibility and contribute to distributed digital preservation efforts.
The journal's editorial team regularly audits digital archives to ensure the completeness and accuracy of archived materials.
