Peer Review Process

RAMADANIA employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality, originality, and integrity of all published works. Neither the authors nor the reviewers are disclosed to one another throughout the review process.

Review Stages:

  • Initial Screening: Upon submission, the editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment to determine whether the manuscript meets the journal's scope, formatting standards, and originality requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be returned to the author without external review.
  • Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two qualified reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject matter.
  • Review Evaluation: Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, academic rigor, methodological soundness, clarity of argumentation, and contribution to the field. Reviewers are expected to submit their evaluations within 4–6 weeks.
  • Editorial Decision: Based on reviewer recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief issues one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
  • Revision and Resubmission: Authors who receive revision requests must resubmit their revised manuscript along with a detailed response letter addressing each reviewer's comments within the specified timeframe.
  • Final Decision: The revised manuscript may undergo a second round of review before a final editorial decision is made.

The entire review process is typically completed within 8–12 weeks from the date of submission. The editorial board is committed to transparency, fairness, and academic excellence throughout all stages of the review process.
